Pick up:
The garment can be collected by you, or with your authority by a nominated friend or family member, between 3–7pm on the rental start date.
The collection instructions will be emailed to you 24 hours prior to the commencement of your hire period.
Returns:
The garment must be returned to Em Dress Rentals by the agreed return date. Please drop back behind the pedestrian gate, before 10am on the fourth day of hire.
Late fees of $20 per day apply if the garment is not returned by the due date. After 20 days, the garment is deemed a non-return and the client will be charged 100%
of the RRP.

For the 4-day hire, we recommend selecting the day before your event to ensure you have the garment in time. We suggest placing your order 2–3 days before your event to allow for postage and any unexpected delays.
Every order includes a prepaid express return satchel, making returns simple. Just lodge the parcel at any Australia Post office and send us a photo of the lodgement receipt as proof of postage.
Your dispatch confirmation and tracking information will be provided 4 days before your event date.
Returns:
The garment must be lodged at an Australia Post office by the designated return date provided at booking.
Please use the prepaid return satchel supplied and email or text us a photo of the lodgement receipt as proof of postage. Under no circumstances should a garment be left in a street posting box.
The client will be held responsible for any issues that may arise during postage, if a lodgement receipt has not been provided. If the garment does not return to Em Dress Rentals within 20 days, you will be charged 100% of the RRP in addition to the hire fee.
Late fees will apply if the garment is not lodged at the post office by the rental return due date. A fee of $20 per day will apply until the garment is returned.

Try ons are available in store. Book an appointment here. If you are coming in to try a specific dress, please contact us on the day so we can check its in store.
We do not offer interstate try-ons.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation policy
Once a rental has been paid for, Em Dress Rentals does not offer refunds. This applies even if the item has not yet been collected. By placing a booking, the client acknowledges that the garment meets any relevant requirements (e.g., event dress codes).
We strongly recommend clients book a try-on appointment prior to hiring to ensure the correct fit and comfort, as refunds cannot be provided for sizing issues or change of mind.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
The hirer must not alter, modify, or attach anything to the garment. Any form of alteration will incur additional charges.
Please do not attempt to clean or treat marks yourself, as this may cause further damage.
The hirer is fully responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of the item during the hire period.
Standard dry cleaning is included in the rental fee. However, if the garment requires specialist cleaning due to staining or excess wear, the hirer agrees to cover these additional costs. Any extra charges will be invoiced after the item has been inspected.
